Reminds me of this one I drew when someone (I think it was on Demonseal) complained that my drawing style wasn't Japanese enough.

There are some cool stuff in this thread! Still interested in seeing more stuff of people here, so I'm bumping this up - together wth something I did today. I'm not a good painter - or drawer - but here's a little pastel drawing I did. It's probably not hard to guess which source I used as a reference!

Nice stuff! I wish I could do stuff without any reference! Mostly everything I do now feels like practicing, so yeah I still use references. I haven't done anything original myself right now!
