Well, it's a specific workaround that you really only need for Vegas (at least, I'm thinking of VFAPI) Premiere takes VOBs or even .avs scripts fairly smoothly, I think Magix can use them too.CrackTheSky wrote:Actually, I was referring more to teaching people how to get Vegas to accept VOBs via fake .avi files, but I guess that's more than just Vegas, so scratch that.Ladymercury wrote:VOB editing... that wouldn't be any different than editing with avi or mpg.... At least to my knowledge. I rarely edit with VOB.

Premiere has the AVS plugin, all other programs will need to use VFAPI as the EADFAG V3 beta guide outlines: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... meth2.html. This includes Vegas, Magix, WMM, etc. (This part of the beta guide needs a little more tweaking, no?)Kristyrat wrote:Well, it's a specific workaround that you really only need for Vegas (at least, I'm thinking of VFAPI) Premiere takes VOBs or even .avs scripts fairly smoothly, I think Magix can use them too.CrackTheSky wrote:Actually, I was referring more to teaching people how to get Vegas to accept VOBs via fake .avi files, but I guess that's more than just Vegas, so scratch that.Ladymercury wrote:VOB editing... that wouldn't be any different than editing with avi or mpg.... The current EADFAG uses makeAVIS for frameserver editing with AVS files in fake AVIs: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... meth2.html.
I know newer versions Vegas and Magix can import and edit VOBs directly, but without the de-interlacing and filtering that AviSynth/VirtualDub provides, you lose some potential quality enhancement.

I have a question if anyone can answer it.
Right now I have a clip of a character of mine in game, running. I've edited it will effects so it looks like the character is running over a black background.
Now I want to introduce the character, to put that clip over another, BUT I want to shrink it down so its just up in the corner so the rest of the layer is open for text and such. How do I do this? I have the two different layers, but I want to move and shrink one of them so its smaller on the video.
