Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Well, here it is, what some have called my best work ( I wouldn’t of never thought of it that way!)... This is my First trailer and ironically 100s of hours of work (Yes, I was going to only take a week at first... go Figure).

Why so long? Not only did I want to do a trailer that fits exactly, but I wanted to parody each scene of the original and hence includes one of my most complex effects I've done that took many hours to do for a mere 18 seconds...

You got to really love your hobby to do this kind of stuff

Enjoy and hope you like it

Vlad

oohhhh *steals and runs away muttering something about 'My precious'*

*edits* I've decided that I need to go back to 'how to make amv's school' after watching that.

Honnestly the first AMV I ever saw was 'Memories Dance' and then i went your website and raided everything i could possibly find. That and your other vids are what got me hooked and inspired me to try making AMVs myself. You see in my mind first came Vlad then came KC lol. That was a while ago and I just realised how remiss I've been since then... *goes off to raid everything you've done since 2003*

But you know watching this is a humbling experience.... This is how effects should be done (in my now much more humble opinion)

Wow. AWESOME video Vlad :O Once again you never cease to astound me in terms of creating an original universe for characters to inhabit. In this event, I could see con audiences going absolutely CRAZY over this. Wonderful job. Bravo :D
