Keiichi Loves Belldandy's Mom

My most recent amv inspired by Hale's Mom but with my own evil twist thrown in. The title pretty much explains all you need to know about the amv. And just to let you know this is actually the toned down version, i have the uncut version as well that i am considering posting sometime in the future

here's a quote from a friend who i asked to view the beta of this amv:
"You bastard, you just single handedly defiled my favorite series and yet i loved watching you do it"

with that, enjoy the vid

getz :amv:

*edit* hmmm i wasn't a fan of your transitions on this, they seemed kinda un polished.
Nice idea, I've seen another one to this song... but it wasn't corrupting a much beloved series like yours :P

That was delightfully twisted. My biggest complaint is that a few spots didn't manage to keep the energy going well.

I liked the concept, but the editing left me wanting more. More so in the beginning than elsewhere, but it felt like a lot was going unsynched to focus on the lyrics, which again, there were, IMO, better choices to be made, at least out of the first TV series. Also, a bit more should have been done to emphasize the fact that Urd is Hild in the past, whether slightly opaque, a white faded effect around the corners, an old time yellow/brown effect on the footage, something. The other thing that bothered me was the logo. I know there are a couple filters that supposedly get rid of them for you, or at least cover them up quite a bit.

But overall good job.

thanks, i thought i doing some kind of flashback effect like changing the coloring or doing some ripple effect to show it was going into the past, but it just didnt look very good

and as for editing, yes i do agree that there were some parts that are less well done than others, what i basically did with this amv is find all the really juicy parts and work on them really hard, i then had about 30 seconds of music that was sort of filler and i wanst sure what to put into it so i just threw in some random scenes

this whole amv is based around one twisted concept as do most of my amvs, it thankfully does not rely of my talents as an editor :P

The title got me really interested, the video sadly didn't live up to my expectations :<

It have some nice scenes here and there (especially the part at the end), and the synchro also is fine, but it lacks something that would make me really lmao when watching this.
For example first refrain - It needed some powerful scene, after all the slow or static scenes going on (which are good, since first verses are introduction to the topic). Instead for half of it is a slow show of the goddes, and then for second half Keichii talking... I haven't watch that part of OMG, but I'm guessing you didn't have enough footage of them together (after all belldandy is the main heroine), but this doesn't change the fact it didn't work for me.

Also there were small annoyances like lip flap in the vid with lip sync, or bs-x logo, but if you would bring the comedy power here they wouldn't annoy as much.

wuhahaha, loved it, yea it did get off to a slow start for about the first half but everything after that was golden, keiichi getting laid with belldandy's mom is the best idea ever for an amv
