Episode 48 made me completely weak in the legs, it's been a long time since an anime had that kind of effect on me. The set up to the reunion wasn't the best, most of the dialogue and action leading up to it seemed clichéd, but once the climax happened, all I could think of was, "amazing".
Probably too busy to be here right now.

I just watched episode 50 of Eureka Seven on Adult Swim and I saw something very interesting (or didn't see if you want to be technical)...THEY CUT OFF THE END!
There's about another five minutes to episode 50 that was just never shown. I know it's not unheard of for animes to be censored when they are brought over to America (Fullmetal Alchemist being one example). But there wasn't anything that I could see being considered problematic. There's also the possibility that it was a mistake and the comercials started before they should have (though highly unlikely). Or maybe they thought the episode was too long and decided to shorten it, which I hope is incorrect. But whatever the reason, the ending is incomplete.
So for those of you who enjoyed the show but only watched it on Adult Swim, I would recommend you find a copy of the original that aired in Japan with subtitles.

I was wondering if anyone caught that, I happened upon [AS] tonight as well and saw it. I find it funny that they cut it right at the "1 year later" transition title. If they had bothered to translate the text on screen they'd be getting a WHOLE lot of emails (I assume the dubbed show has somewhat of a following) saying "1 year later what?!?! I must know, why didn't you show the 1 year later!!!" I'll give mad props to CN for showing my favorite anime, but they really eff'd up the ending.

I jumped in the middle (was channel surfing when I saw it) so I didn't see that.jnsparrow wrote:Did anyone else notice that they also cut off the BEGINNING of the episode ... with Eureka floating upside down and doing a voice-over?
What the hell, adult swim, what the hell?
@Kumatora: Thats... redeemable of them to do that, but they should have done it right the first time.

I'm just glad they were willing to admit that they made a mistake and fix it. And true to their word the episode that aired had everything included. Kind of obnoxious that they displayed the ending credits in the middle of the last 5 minutes, but that's really only a minor complaint. Good job AS.meleechampion wrote:@Kumatora: Thats... redeemable of them to do that, but they should have done it right the first time.

Alright, let me just go over a few things here. For one, BONES has announced E7 will continue for 2 more years. How? They didn't officially say. Second, a new rumor has emerged claiming that the E7 movie will be released in Fall of this year. And Third, Gallo (who does scetches for E7) has just posted up his newest scetch of a Trapar Airship never before seen in the series! This add's more and more to the ever more increasing evidence that the E7 movie is on it's way! If Your Not Already A Member, Why Not Become One?
