Anime Battle Royal

[Evangelion Unit 01]

My younger brother and I have always argued of which anime character would defeat which anime characters in a fight. So, I thought it might be interesting to see which anime characters the members here would want to see fight with each other, and who would win.

Go a head and write what anime characters you would like to see fight each other, who you would think would win and why, and please feel free to respond to anyone else's duals

Personally I would like to see

1. Later battle damaged Guts (From Berserk) VS Alucard (From Hellsing)
I think it would be a great battle, but in the end I feel that Guts would win, for Alucard says in the series "only a Man can destroy a monster" and Guts is a great demon slayer. I would be a great battle but I feel Guts would win.

2. Original Griffith (From Berserk) VS Kenshin (From Kenshin )
Here I feel it would also be a great fight, but in the end Kenshin would win for he has all the kick ass moves. Griffith is good, just Kenshin has combos and what not.

Finally
3. All the Evas including the mass produced series (From Neon Genesis Evangelion) VS and all the Gundams (From Gundam wing)
Infinite fuel and ammo for all!
I honestly could not call this one. I know the Gundams from the Wing series are probably the most powerful of all the Gundams, but the Evas are rather strong in themselves. So for me this is a real toss up.

Do you know what would be a kick-ass battle?

Mugen (From Samurai Champloo) Vs Inu Yasha (From... must i really say it?).

I think it would be an awesome fight. InuYasha would win, though. Once he goes into his demon form, it would be all over for Mugen.

A couple things to clarify that'd help with the matches:

1) Are we talking manga or anime Alucard? Because if you want to go with anime, this is someone who disrupted the ritual of a god-like being. And if it's the manga, he's even more insanely powerful, as he seems to have no real weakness aside from the most holy of relics. I've got to give this to Alucard, if for no other reason than the ability not to die from anything and having attacks that are non-physical (and the whole summoning familiars thing that get incredibly powerful when fully used)

2) Kenshin also uses a dull blade and is constrained, to some extent, by the rules of reality. Griffith is less so.

3) Again, you probably need to specify when you're taking the Evas from. Because while the Gundams can blow up colonies, fully powered Eva 01 kinda LCL's the pilots while becoming God. Without that, then the Gundams have much more powerful firepower, even if they don't regenerate or berzerk.


There are many fights I want to see, but here's one for your consideration (Yes, I know only one is from anime, but the other's close enough):

Ranma Saotome (End of series) (Ranma 1/2) vs. Spiderman (Pre-"The Other" storyline)

They've got roughly comparable strength, both exceedingly fast, both use fists as main weapons, and, most importantly, have highly adaptive styles of fighting. Spidey has his webs, but Ranma has the ability to go from speed-based (female body) to power-based (male body) easily, making it somewhat hard to predict. Spidey has his spider senses, but Ranma's martial instincts seem to react much the same way. Ranma has the advantage of special moves, like the Hiryu-Shoten-Ha, but Spiderman has superior air mobility.

In the end, I give the match to Spiderman, for being a little stronger and only needing to hit so many times with the web before Ranma's speed starts to drop. But it'd be an impressive fight.

1. I have not read the manga of Hellsing yet, my brother is and he loves it. The reason I say battle damaged Guts is to show the guts from the manga after the summoning of the god hand. I said battle damaged not to give away any spoilers. Also My bases for my argument is that Guts is a demon slayer and has a cannon for an arm. Also he gets that cool armor later which could most likely stop many of Alucard's attacks. Also in the TV series Alucard says only a human can kill a monster. Guts=human Alucard=monster. So, he even admits to his defeat. I will say it would be a spectacular battle, and my bother would agree with you that Alucard would win. I see your point and agree with it for the most part. But of course I am a die hard Berserk fan, and also feel there is rather good evidence for Guts’ victory which I have provided.

2. True Kenshin does use a double blade, so let me put this a different way. How about the batosi and Griffith go at it. The non demonic Griffith. Sorry for the spoilers, but you wouldn't understand if you didn't see the series anyway. Anyway. I feel Kenshin would win in this. Griffith would put up a good fight, yet Kenshin would win! Griffith is my second favorite character in Berserk and I like him more than Kenshin, so I am eliminating a bias here by admitting that Kenshin would win.

3. For the Evas Vs the Gundams. There max power infinite full and ammo. I want to see the most intense power battle there is. I think that would be cool!

Really, what's the point in arguing over if Goku can beat Vash can beat Kenshin can beat Pikachu can beat your mailman if you drew him in an anime-style? The simple fact of the matter is that Batman always wins.

I understand your reasoning for thinking this is a pointless thread, but I feel it could bring in a good discussion, for your not just saying how would beat who, but also explaining why, presenting evidence, as well as having others controdict your argument with their evidence. Isn't that what a discussion and an argument is all about? No one has yet just said character A can beat character B they have explained how and that they would like to see that battle. Also I've said I don't know who would win in a fight. So, I think this is a little more than just a batman thread.

Probably hitsugaya cuz he dont waste time fighting also has bonkai also he can fly which shikamaru is lazy and cant reach with paralysis jutsu since it only works on shadows
