Whats your most favourite part of an amv

Like what in an amv makes you enjoy it... me personally, I like either fast passed action vids or slow vids with good plots. Oh and random plot sequences... but those get annoying sometimes

Deep emotional impact wether it is sad and depressing or angelic. If it gives me that chill down my spine I love it. Pwolf's As The World Crashes Down does this for me and so does silver_moon's Visionary

It is most often a 5 second edit that has me sold to the video. If a video is going good that's well...good, but when there's just 1 part (or more, sometimes it's the whole vid) during a good vid I guess you could call the "moneyshot"

I like it when it's done well. Visual glitches and errors really bother me. Poor lip-synching is the worst; and if something even seems like it's supposed to be on beat but isn't, I tend to cringe. I like AMVs that follow the music, with action to the beat. The best are those that not only have the action set to the beat and rhythms, but also progress a story as described by the song.

For me its just basically the overall concept of the video. If this is done well, it probably wont matter as much weather the visual effects or presentation are simplistic or complex.

when its a drama/sentimental amv I whant it to make me feel sad of make me cry

when it horror(I think thats how you spell it) I whant it to be scary, somtimes so scary ill whana wet my pants

when its action I like to see tons of fighting going on with flashes and pulses and good beat sync and other effect

when its a romance I whant to be abel to tell that they love eachother

when its a comedy I whana laugh so hard I fall out of my chair like I did when I whatched real ninja and ninja of the night

I think iv coverd all major catagorys not inculdin parody

well thats what impresses me in an amv

When I'm making them: the final product.

Overall for AMVs I watch- usually the music, followed by having an anime I like, followed by the concept.

For me, it's the emotion, both in making them and watching them.

When I'm making a vid, there's that instant when I play back a portion of the AMV and I get the edit just right...just the way I pictured it in my head...and I about come out of my chair cheering.

When I'm watching a vid, if it gets my heart pumping, my feet tapping or my tears flowing...if it gives me that shiver of delight...that's the best.
