  • I'm sore... 2003-03-04 19:28:23 Yep that's right, started working out again. Need to get my fat ass back into shape. So what is in shape for me. Right now I'm about 200-205 and I'm 5'10. I want to get back down to 175 like I was a few years ago. It's doable, and it needs to be done.

    Let's see what else is new. Got me a girlfriend now, and she's sucking lots of my time away from my amv making. LOL Actually, I can't find the Pokemon episodes that I need so I'm letting the Pokemon video idle there for a while.

    I'm getting started at making another video. A bebop video *dodges the tomatos* Yes yes, I know there's TOO MANY BEBOP VIDEOS. Well sorry folks, but I've wanted to make this video since last Otakon. Was just waiitng on getting the dvd's first.

    What sucks now is that the 6th disc isn't loading on my computer so I can rip it. Found out the video is scratched so going to have to talk with the last guy who borrowed that dvd.

    Anyways I have to get back to grading these 200 exams.....I'm a TA. For you school kids out there, that means I'm a Teacher's Assistant. Go to grad school. But unlike most TA's I can speak English. Hey I was born in England, so I better damn well know my english, right....LOL 
  • New Video Online 2003-02-20 05:30:40 I don't know why I procrastinate so much. It's never a good thing to procrastinate, cuz all you're going to be doing is kicking yourself in the ass in the end. Wishing you had more time to do this, do that, bitching and moaning left and right.

    I finally put the Fatal Fury video online. I hope people get what I was getting at. I finally got around to putting up a comment to the guy who gave me an opinion on the Escaflowne video that I had done. I understand where he is coming from, but I really don't think he paid attention to the lyrics of the song and what the anime was conveying.

    But the guy gave me some good tips, stuff I'm going to remember for when I work on my next video.

    I've already figured out the new song and the anime. It's gonna be one of those various ones which will also incorporate different animes blended together. The song is purely wrong.

    It's going to take me forever to do this one, since I've never done anything like this before. And knowing me I'm going to do things the stupid, slow way.....but I'm just glad that the song is a short 90 second one.

    It'll save me time with putting stuff together, and it'll save the viewers time of watching the crap...LOL. But yeah...the more i think about it...the more I want to do it.

    Hmmmm....maybe I should try to get it ready for Otakon....it's worth a shot. 
  • Katsucon 9 & 9.1 2003-02-19 20:35:32 So came back from Katsucon 9 and 9.1 (dubbed BlizzardCon). It was a fun convention, got my press badges, did stuff with AnimeDog, watched the AMV's and was pleased witht he response I got for the Fatal Fury video I had made.

    I met up with Inoue-san and he told me alot more things of an anime he's been trying to get made. I wish I could talk about it cuz it's really good, but Inoue-san requested that I do not divulge that information. So off course I have to respect it.

    Other than that, the Duel Jewel concert was a security SNAFU. The punk Rock anime party was awesome on Fri and Sat night. I love getting press passes and getting into these invite only parties.

    After watching the AMV's on Fri, I realize there is some stuff I wanna learn how to do. Some stuff that I need to do. I think I'll be doing that for my next video. Till then, I hope it doesn't take me 6 months to get another journal entry up.

    We'll see how it goes.

  • The first exam 2002-09-30 15:13:10 Been buys working on my first year of grad school here at Rutgers. I'm going to be proctoring an exam the next few days in Psychology. My one fear is the girls that fail the exam. The ones that will come to my office and bat their eyelids saying 'Please, I'll do anything for a good grade....anything"

    I'm going to be afriad.....I have to say no, I must say no....the guy between my legs might say yes....must develop willpower. Knowing me, I'm just nervous since this is my first year and all.

    Anyways, I saw Spirited Away last week in NYC, great movie. Today I just found out that I got Press Passes for AnimeNEXT. Very cool, and I was checking out the forums, MeriC and VegetoEX won for Best Char profile in AWA. Congrats guys. Hope you got my email.

    Let's see...hmmm...it's been a while since I've done this...oh yes...Working on redoing the Fatal Fury video, want to do it to better footage and all of that jazz.

    I just don't know which con to send it too.

  • Completing the second video 2002-09-11 19:27:39 So if any of you have been reading my journals. You will know that I was redoing the Escaflowne video. Well I completed that and I just finished exporting it to VHS.

    This afternoon I submitted it to AnimeNEXT. I would mention in the profile of the video that it's going to ANEXT, but there is no option for that. Oh well.

    So today is the one year anniversary of 9-11. I was there....so don't expect me to want to attend some ceremony or anything like that. I prefer to have moved on, and remember what those events taught us. They taught us to value life, to be helpful and kind to one another.

    I'll continue to live that way, and take things one step at a time.

    Well off to dinner...SEE YA!
