I was almost there

Ran into MeriC and VegetoEX a day or two ago. Good thing I got to talk to them. They told me alot of things that I should and shouldn't be doing. Most of which I had guessed correctly, but I'm glad I got to know why I shouldn't do this and that.
I almost completed the Esca video last night, but then the audio started to loop. Think of a bad record player and there you have it. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it up this time around.
I need to have it done ASAP since AnimeNEXT's deadline is this weekend.
Another good thing is that the first meeting of Rutgers University's anime club meets this weekend.

What's going on..

Hey. Haven't written in here in the past few days. Let's see, the new computer runs smoothly, feel very comfortable with everything I got in it that is running.
I went to a fair/carnival yesterday over in Scotch Plains. It was pretty cool. I hung out with this girl that was telling everyone she was 19. So we started flirting around a bit. She then told me she was 16 and things suddenly changed. Even showed me her driver's permit that showed she was 16.....
JAILBAIT!!!
Well things changed dramatically after that. Instead of trying to hit her up, I just ended up becoming her friend. Oh well, at least I got a friend.
Other than that, things are cool. I'm almost done with redoing the Escaflowne video, after that I'm off to submitting it to AnimeNEXT.
I was going to send a video over to NekoCon but I changed my mind, mainly because I am not going there.

That right folks, I went to WWE Raw last night in Madison Square Garden. The show was great. So I sat right by the rampway, where the wrestlers come down and exit. I was about 5 rows back right up against the aisle.
The show was awesome. RVD vs Tommy Dreamer was a classic ECW match. The skits with Jericho were great, the return of Kane was hot. Everything about Raw was just so awesome. Then again I guess I was also in the high of how close I was to the wrestlers.
I've been trying hard to find a tape of RAW, glad to hear my friend taped it, it was great and I know I was on tv.
other than that, my modem is acting up, and I have a splitting headache because of the pyro at RAW. I'm going home in 15 mins so I can sleep.

Finally got it to work

So like I stated earlier, I've had a computer now for about 5 days. It's 12:30 am, Saturday...that would make it 6 days then, since I got the computer on a sunday.
Anyways, to my shock and dismay lots and lots of people are downloading Gundam Bears. over 100 downloads since I put it up. I'm glad so many people are downloading it.
It's taken me forever, numerous downloads of programs like clad, smart ripper, dvd2avi, mpeg2avi, etc, etc...but I finally figured out the perfect way to rip dvd's.
You see I don't want to rip DVD's solely for putting them on CD. I prefer to buy the movies. I have a job and now that I have money coming in I can support the artists. But I just wanted to rip certain scenes for amv creating. Everyone talked about burning the entire cd...but I funally figured it out. Cool thing is that the ripping doesn't take long, and after going thru an entire episode, I can delete the .VOB file. Only problem is, that Flask crashes at time. So it can be disheaterning, but it';s worth it if you ask me.
I want to try to fix the Escaflowne video. Actually I just want to redo it in 720X480 and perhaps add a new effect. So right now just capturing the footage.
Anyways I should try to capture the footage from the next few videos. See ya around.

Putting my first video online

Last Sunday I went to a computer show with $1200 on me. I came home with a monster.
I've been setting it up for the past two days now. installed lots and lots of new software.
On the good side, I was able to take Gundam Bears and make it from a 100 mb file to a 37 mb file. So that makes it available for people to download and for people to give me opinions.
I didn't know if I should've made it a 'chmod 755' file but I did anyways. I tried to check to see if the file would download properly, it didn't. So I just moved the file to a directory, and I moved the link tot he directory.
So now people can just do a right-click and do a save as.
Well that makes me happy. Soon enough I'll get around to making all the crazy new types of videos that I had originally wanted to.
