Ahhhhhh..... life at it's strangest. I see good news and bad news in the world today. The bad news is that there are cases of Anthrax popping up on a daily basis now and while I'm not scared, it is a bit un-nerving. The GOOD news, however is that I have FINALLY finished my 2nd draft of my video using Premiere!!! My Goddess it was so easy to do!! I never would have thought that I could catch on to Premiere so quickly. And I must say that The Last Kishin v2.0 is SOOOO much improved from the previous version which was created with PCTV Studio. Now I still need to touch up some things here and there but I'm hoping that by the end of the week, I'll have v2.0 up for download here on AMV.org. I'm so excited!!! I didn't know I was capable of such a wonderful work of art (well, it is to me) and I hope others will find it as pleasing. Actually, a few times last night I found myself tearing up at some of the scenes as they are very moving, especially with the music being used. Bu enough about me. Don't get me wrong, I am worried and a little scared like the rest of us are about the whole war and such. I guess I've just been trying to pursue my AMV hobby more and more to get my mind off of what's going on in the world around me, at least for the time being. But God and Goddess bless America and those who fight for justice and freedom.

Yes, a classic cult movie Army of Darkness is. I happened to catch it on TV last night while messing around with Adobe Premiere 6.0 WHICH I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO USE!!! This is thanks to a wonderful book that I found at CompUSA called Adobe Premiere 6.0: Classroom in a Book. It even came with a nice CD that helped me get started with Premiere and taught me some of the basics. I got sooooo into it that I got 1/3 of the way through my video and I must say it's SOOO much easier than the last program I used. And I can finally create decent HITS! Wow, this program is amazing. Thanks to all of you who gave me some tips on using Premiere. They helped out a lot. ^_^ Anyways, as I sit here at my cubicle (yes, think Dilbert), work seems to be progressing slowly. Bleah bleah bleah. Well, at least I can write in my journal ^^. Oh! And by the way, I saw Iron Monkey and yes, I DO HIGHLY recommend it. It's very funny and is a great way to spend an evening. And as far as the Cowboy Bebop movie E K, well...... I envy you that you can watch R2 discs!!!! :P If only I were so fortunate -_-; Anyways, I hope you get to see it soon! Tell us how it is.

I set out last night to try and get all of the news stuff out of my system. Like Lostboy, I simply had seen and heard too much and it had been bothering me. So, after going out to eat with some friends at Back Yard Burgers, we decided to catch the movie 'Bandits'. Now I went in to this thinking it would be a pretty funny movie. How surprised I was to find that it was actually a VERY funny movie with two great actors and one fiiiiiinee looking actress, Cate Blanchett. After seeing the film, I couldn't help but notice some similarities to Lupin III and Cowboy Bebop, both of them having characters similar to those portrayed in Bandits. You had the Spike/Lupin character, portrayed by Billy Bob Thornton and the Jet/Jiigan character portrayed by Bruce Willis. Now I wouldn't say they were PERFECT matches, but they shared some of the same qualities that these characters do and their personalities aren't too far off. Also, you had Cate Blanchett playing the role of Faye/Fujiko as the female role. And I guess you could call the 'driver' an 'Ed'-type character but he wasn't NEARLY as intelligent as Ed (who is). Anyways, I'd recommend this movie to anyone who wants some laughs and to also see some incredible action. I give it an 8 out of 10. But I'm betting that Iron Monkey this evening will make Bandits look like pure child's play. JA NE MINNA-SAAAN!!

I know I'm still a newbie here and I don't want to seem like I'm butting in on someone else's business but.... E K dear, are you SURE those video ideas are wise? ^^; I mean, I'm sure between Lee, Hsien and I, we could all arrange to string you up if you so wish. But I think we'd all prefer to praise you for another WONDERFUL Cowboy Bebop video instead of EVA ^_^. By the way, I just finished CB and LOVED the ending!! Anyways, just my two cents. Time for the Headmaster to go check on his mistr.....I....mean wife @_@;;
