Oops, I did it again.

So I sat down and browsed through my music collection; one CD captivated my attention, and after that... well, it was 4 am before I went to sleep. The results, though, should be ready soon enough, and downloadable, too.
I think I must start packing my products with .zip; I do not know if my ISP has any sort traffic monitoring (I'd hate to get any sort of yapping from them since now I have a reliable broadband and my own site, yay), but a friend of mine noted that .avi files do not go through the firewall of her university (even with 'save as' being used). Some experimenting proved that .zip files do that, though. Urgh.
And my next project? Big. Bigbigbigbig. Ugh. I did not mean it to be that big, honest! It just... grew. It would not do justice to the material if I had left it... castrated. Six and half minutes; oh well.
Back to the Project. Right after lunch.

It's either a trip to the beach or to the lake of fire...

...but nonetheless, I just posted my *very* first AMV. And then I remembered that the name I picked originally ('Craftergoddess', which was originally a joke in my geek-friend group; that's a long story) does not match with the name I chose for the AMV (which is 'Skiriki Team' -- another very long story). Oh, well. I could always come up with the BS excuse of 'they represent my different sides', ne? :)
I love Weird Al. And I love the Slayers. And ever since a friend of mine introduced the concept of AMV to me, I've itched to put those two things together, just to see what sort of mess it will cause.
So after successful whining for a better computer from my boss (who was very quickly persuaded after I had shown 'Boom' (that Slayers AMV) and 'Larger Than Life' (Cowboy Bebop, from Aluminum Studios; all it took was one not-so-subtle hint that I'd like to give it a try, and I need a better 'puter for work anyway), acquiring a DVD-ROM and works, I sat down and started gathering material.
And now I discovered that 80 gig HD just can't Do It; I need to buy a bigger HD and install the rack system into my computer so I can switch between HDs. I suppose I could burn the stuff on CD-Rs, as well, but... I don't have a burner. Bummer.
Nonetheless, after 10 hours or so, my 'Lunch!' was ready (and then I spent two hours more polishing it) at 5 am, and I staggered to get some sleep.
Do tell me, kind reader, what you thought about it (should you download 'Lunch!'), but please bear in mind that it has been the very first time I've even used that dang Adobe Premiere (and yes, there IS some strange fuzzy bit at the last third, but it refuses to go away! The clip, however, is perfectly fine, and shows no signs of that sort of distortion... so I'm clueless. Feel free to tell me *what* to do to it and I'll attack it savagely until it ceases to be...) :)
