I seem to be the only one in my social circle not getting screwed over by someone else... ok, not true, but at least half of the people closest to me are getting jerked around big time by people that you'd expect to support them or respect them. It's rather depressing. Half of us or less are relatively fine but I feel like I'm not really able to help people much... well, I am, but I'm just not able ot come up with needed quick fixes. The harshness of the real world is becoming more and more apparent. Makes me look less forard to graduation, since school is a little sheltered from the real world. Meh.
In other news, I've snagged the OST, the first one of the series, of the Tekkaman Blade soundtracks. That completes the set of 7 (or 3 if not including the OVA albums). Seven deadly discs, baby! -

OK, I've really gone and shot myself in the foot for the next couple of months. I'm exhausted, on a Friday AFTERNOON.... not evening, it's only quarter after 5, and I'm half dead. Week 7 is supposed to be the dreaded busy week, we're only at week 4, and I'm already suffering sleep deprivation. Why oh why did I sign up for extra classes?... well, the extra class is Japanese, go figure. I'm such an idiot -.-
Oh, this is cute, the skin I chose doesn't have the journal in a legible condition. Oh well, deal with that later.
In other news, everything seems ready to go for me to move out of Mississauga and into Brampton, which is a real toss up between "is this gonna make things better or worse?". I'm not fond of Brampton, AT ALL, but this is a temporary (read: half-year) arrangement. I'm gonna start feeling like a drifter. At least I'll be with friends through it all. -

I find myself returning to old habits. Not that I mind, I am learning that I miss this place. I had no computer for a few months until school started in January. My own comp replacing the one that got raped and mortally wounded by a virus still is to be obtained - essentially I have some vital organs without a skeleton to hold them. I will finally be able to make videos ON MY OWN COMPUTER when it happens though. That will be fantastic, as the fact that I do not own my own equipment is a key factor to the fact that I produce few vids.
I hope that this place doesn't detrack me from my studies too much, hehe. It's funny that I choose the word detrack as one of my final projects involves the hub train station of Toronto - which I'm rather excited over, as I'm a train nut ^_^. Hehe, riding into downtown this morning, my GO Train outraced a VIA train, which I found amusing for some reason - VIA Trains would logically be faster since they cover much greater distances. For those completely unfamiliar with the Greater Toronto Area, GO Transit serves the suburban areas and Hamilton, while VIA Rail serves major locations all over Canada.
I'm really looking forward to seeing videos again after a fairly long absence, and looking forward to the prophecy of the Golden Donut being fulfilled! Phade got my donation yesterday, so now it's just playing the waiting game. Everybody throw in your 2 cents.... well, 2 bucks if you want to be speaking literally.
It's gonna be a mad-busy-semester, I plan on using .org as my sanity refuge once in a while ^~. To make the current time more hectic though, I'm moving again, so soon. Out of Mississauga I go after only 7 months, and into Brampton of all places. I hate Brampton, but with my getting my G2 Driver's licence really soon, it shouldn't be too bad. I hate driving, but I've got my access to downtown near a GO Train station in Brampton - I've always lived within GO's reach, it's like a security blanket. I MUST be connected to downtown Toronto at all times. Hehe.
I've been exposed to a lot of new anime lately too, as I've got a new local anime club, UTMAnime. Been seeing Gundam SEED, GitS SAC, WHR, Get Backers, Tokyo Underground, and other stuff. They've got Macross Zero showing too but I haven't seen it yet because I missed the last showing -.-. It was bloody cold out that night. This whole damn continent is in the worst cold snap in a decade. There's frozen vegetation in Florida it's so bad.
*sigh* And to top it off, I've been extremely scatterbrained lately and still having trouble seeing certain people that I'd like to see more often. Why am I on the bloody computer?! Oh right, if I go anywhere it'll take too long to get anywhere and back to make it realistically worth it if I plan to sleep at all - and I'm a total wuss when it comes to sleep deprivation. I suck -.-.
