    August 4th, 2004: 9:29 A.M.

    Believe me, I'm not making this up. There is major drama in my life now. My best friend's uncle (the uncle lives with her) got into a car crash near Vancouver Mall. The other person was drunk driving after a graduation party of some sort. The cars hit each other head on. She died right on contact. But my best friend's uncle somehow survived.

    His whole front of his car was practically ON his lap becuase the car was so bent up and his seat was where the back seat was supposed to be. He has to learn to walk all over again and right now he's in a lot of pain. His legs and arms have metal IN them and the doctors cannot remove it. He's lost his memory about the crash, all he remembers is lights comming his direction and then BAM.

    The night of the crash, he was going to the bank to cash in his check. He ususally doesn't go in the direction of the crash to get to the bank but some other direction. That night, he felt as if God had told him to go that direction, that the crash had to happen. That it was the girl's punnishment that she was drunk driving.

    So yesterday night I spent the night praying for my best friend's family. I don't like to see anyone I know in so much pain. This is really taking a hard toll on my friend. Life has it's price, don't forget that...
