Re: I bring very sad news
The last time I skyped with Magnus until the wee hours of the morning with Liz, he told me that he had found acceptance in his condition and said he would live the rest of his life how he wanted to, and to the fullest he could. He loved his friends, he loved the org, he just loved everything. And I started to tear up a little when he told me that and he said that I wasn't allowed to cry because, as he explained it, "There is nothing to be sad about!"
I didn't believe him at the time because how could we not be sad? But Magnus wasn't sad, he was happy to have all of his friends near and far there for him and that was all that mattered to him. He didn't want us to be sad for him. Of course we will all miss him and it will be a long time before we can accept that this happened to someone so young with so much ahead of him, but he wanted us to remember him and keep him in our hearts.
Magnus always put others before himself; even when I was talking to him over skype a few weeks ago (that last time I heard Magnus' voice) we were talking about his cancer, and he suddenly decided to talk about something happier, and out of no where said, "Kiki, you're so pretty. I'm going to come over there this summer and give André a hair cut. He's pretty hot, he just needs one of my awesome hair cuts." Magnus always found a way to make you laugh, and never let you be sad around him.
Magnus, I'm going to miss our skype chats where I stay up until ungodly hours in the morning and you would wake up way too early just so we could catch up. I will miss hearing you try and fail to say "thirty-three", which bothered you to know end because you would always say "firty-free". You will be so dearly missed, but never ever forgotten. I love you Magnus. We always will.

Re: I bring very sad news
To know that I'd never ever hear you laugh again at the "airplane taking off" on my laptop during VC leaves me with a really sad feeling. I wish I had took the chance to try and talk to you more when you were online on skype. You were always like a great teacher to me and it made me happy to learn new things about editing from you. I just never imagined this day would have came so soon. I'll really miss you Magnus. And I swear, one day I will definitely get around to watching Death Note like I promised you before. I won't forget it. And I won't forget you either.

I remember when I saw AMV made by him for the first time, how much I admired him and his skills. He was one of my favourite editors for years.

Re: I bring very sad news
Sad day, very sad day. We often forget that we're creatures with an expiration date and that goes for ourselves and how we perceive everyone else. It's only in what we leave behind that we can extend that time beyond the time we move on from this world.
After reading all the goodbye messages here, I think Magnus will live on in all of us far longer into the future than he might have ever figured for himself. I never knew him beyond the awesome videos I've seen of his, but to all those who dud and mourn his lost, stay strong and always remember him. Always.

Re: I bring very sad news
I was planning on doing a best of 2011 stream on Saturday, but now I think I will stream all of Magnus videos. Current time is set for 8PM EST Saturday - Feb 25th.
Good time to sit down, enjoy the good works he has done, and just generally chat and remember one of us.

Re: I bring very sad news
He got his first attack during his visit with Victor Hedström at my place, during summer 2010. He was in pain and I had to follow him with the ambulance to the hospital while Victor stayed home and watched over my place. At the hospital, I stayed with him over the night and watched over him. The doctors over there presumed that it was just a ''kidney stone'' and it was highly treatable, but fate was wasn't as kind. After a few test to another hospital, they found out that he had a high risk of cancer in this left kidney, and he was put into treatment immediatly.
After a year, they managed to get the cancer out of his system, but it came back and this time it was on one of his legs. At this stage, the doctor announced that it was too late to cure it, as it was already at that stage and it would spread again if they were to do the same treatment. After hearing that, he had two options to choose from, to either detach one of his legs and live a couple of years more, or to live with the time he had left. In the end, he choosed to live as himself and wanted to treasure that time he had left, and this is exactly what the person I've known throughout all of these years, would've done. He would never give up and live his life to his fullest.
I've known Magnus ever since I went to that one convention in Sweden back in 2006. At first he looked like a shy person and he looked a bit lost since he was searching for me (we arranged our first date ) When I finally got to meet him, the first words he said ''Your Danzeh video was bad'' I laughed strangely and there we began our friendship We started speaking about future project together after we got home from the convention and talked a little bit about our history. We had a lot in common but at the same time not, we still got along together. He was always being so energetic about his projects and more importantly, he was passionate about them which I always admired about him. He may be cocky in many occasions, but I never talked back to him back then because I knew he was still young and it's normal, and beside I'm rarely angry to anyone, and he knew that. When he decides to be kind to someone, and someone like me, he becomelsos one of the sweetest person I've ever met. People would often ask me how I could keep up with such a person, I realise then, even though he might be quite rough at times, I know this person has a kind heart, so I always took everything he said and didn't mind it that much.
Through this person, I've also got the chance to meet Victor (NeverendAMV) in a lot of occasions, and always had the best time together and formed ''The Swedish Trio'' eventually. Magnus invited me to follow him to Victor's place, but I didn't know the person so I wasn't unsure about it at first. After spending time with both of them that first time, I was really happy I went along with Magnus and most important of all, he introduced me to a new friend. Eventually he introduced to other people aswell, which I've become close friends with.
I can't thank him enough for what he have done for me and for the rest of us. I just regret, I couldn't tell him all of this before he left, and I should've been there for him when he needed to, which I didn't do. He was like a little brother to me and he would sometime open up telling me that he wanted to do the same thing as me in the future. Thinking about those words today, hurted me deeply and I was lost of words.
Sorry for the long post, this is something I thought about while I was taking my walk and remembered my memories with him.

Re: I bring very sad news
Well the last post i see on my facebook app was
"My stomach is ridiculous... Ouh."
And that was written on Monday.
What i can say is, that he was a guy who never giving up.
I dont know but this news hit me really hard. We didnt talk that often and the last month i was never online and feel sorry for it, that i cant say something to him anymore.
Everyone should take a part of him in his/her heart, the part that was never giving up and love the life as we can live.
I would like to express my deepest sympathy, to his family and all people around him.

Todd said it perfectly, we didn't talk as much as I wish we had, but I'm proud to have you as a friend.
You were truly inspiring and I was so excited to have you come stay with us, cause I know it would have been the most fun. We would have rocked the collab we were going to make. You were the most unique and amazing person with the greatest outlook on life and people.
"I shall dub thee mags! And you shall be my mags!" Forever and always darling, you touched everyone who knew you and it was an honor to be your friend. I love you miss you already Mags
