This.

I gave up on my new wireless mouse. If I moved it too far from the computer it wouldn't work, and the batteries barely lasted 24hrs. Even when I had it really close to the computer, I had to be careful because if I turned it the wrong way it wouldn't work. I really wanted to go back to an old one with a ball instead of a laser because I could control those better. I eventually compromised and got one with a laser and a wire. It still slides too easily for me to draw a straight line with it, but at least the wire is long enough to let me have it a few feet from the computer. I hate battery operated things with a vengeance. I went to Radio Shack looking for an extender cord for my headset and they tried to pawn a wireless battery operated headset off on me instead. I had to glare the poor misguided woman into giving me the cord I wanted. She was still shaking her head at me when I left. Why does everyone want battery operated things? Especially things that never leave the house. They must be getting their batteries a lot cheaper than I'm getting mine. I'll take a longer wire over a battery any day.

When your at work and someone who is clearly not your boss, tries to act like your boss. Most of the times I just ignore them cause i'm in zombie mode but today for some reason I raged.

Ok so it didn't go anything like that but I highly doubt they will be bothering me again. :awesome:

If they do, next time i'll throw a chair. Usually that gets the point across fairly well.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

*3:30am* "BRING BRING! HAY! I'M GONNA SEND LOTS OF TEXTS TO YOU NOW! TALK TO ME WHEN YOU CAN THOUGH. IT'S NOT REALLY IMPORTANT!"

Jesus christ, when every other sentence ends with "my boyfriend" and I only asked what they've been up to lately, it really grinds on my nerves. I don't hate anyone mentioning their boyfriend at all or anything, but there's a very clear line between casually mentioning something and obsessively reinforcing something. It's very obvious to me when I'm being treated as some sort of male on the prowl who could obviously be a threat and needs to be reminded his place. It's not like that happens constantly or anything, but often enough to really annoy me.

There's many counterexamples to that; for example a girl that I actually had a huge crush on about a year ago turned out not to be single, but was completely cool about the way she revealed that information or treated me otherwise. It was good for me to know in that situation, too. There's plenty of genuine ways and reasons why a significant other could be mentioned, and I certainly got no problem with those and would be entirely interested if it actually has to do with the subject of conversation at hand. But it really fucking drives me up the wall when I get those blatant signals in casual conversation for no reason other than the obvious lame one :|
I completely agree, it drives me nuts. A cute barista at a Starbucks had a nice necklace on. When I ordered a coffee, I smiled and said

"That's a nice neckla--
"THANKS, MY BOYFRIEND GOT IT FOR ME WHEN WE TOOK A VACATION TO THE BAHAMAS. THATS WERE HE PROPOSED."

It's like, wow you really think you need to hold up a sign? What do you think's gonna happen, I grab your hair and fuck you in the bathroom? Are you REALLY that scared?

Women hit on me all the time and I never say one word about any significant other I may or may not have. It's none of their business. It's casual flirting. When a guy likes your shoes, he isn't proposing.

bitches needa chill numsayn.

I've been using rechargeable batteries for nearly 6 years now. After about a $40 investment (several batteries, AA and AAA, and the charger), I haven't paid for any more. Also, the batteries in my mouse and keyboard tend to last 6 months or more before I need to charge them. I don't like wires because of drag and because of the already messy area behind my PC (despite having them all tied up and separated). Also, there are more expensive mice out there with adjustable weights, thumb- and pinky-shelves to reduce drag, optional wired/wireless connections, and precision modes to instantly reduce sensitivity when you need to do something like draw a straight line.

That moment when you realize that you spent so much time rewinding a show's theme song, you ran out of free time to watch the show. (I've listened to Arashi no Hero at least 40 times now and I'm still on the 5th episode of The Brave Express Might Gaine.)

I hate it how people in this town constantly switch between French and English mid sentence. Yeah, sure, I understand both when spoken separately, but it's really hard to understand that you're asking me a question when you switched to French for the end. D:

Guess it won't be getting any better, moving to Montreal and all next year...

Some of my friends do that with Spanish. Only I hardly know any Spanish and they usually just do it to annoy me.
