Anime Festival Orlando
So is any going to Anime Festival Orlando. I've heard its a decent convention, sorta like our Anime USA/ Anime Mid Atlantic, and one of my friends lives in Florida and I'll be visiting here. Also it falls on my birthday as well. So pretty cool. Also another question is if anyone is going I'm looking for a Kagome and Miroku to help me out with a skit if interested.

Yeah, I'll be going. It's definitely one of Florida's best cons, so I make it a point to go when I can. The con's supposedly going to be holding another editors' gathering this year as well, so that's something to look forward to.
As for the cosplay, you may want to try posting on Orange Anime's forums (specifically, the AFO section, as there's another IY group that's being assembled.

I'll definitely be there. I will go on Saturday afternoon (gotta do a special event for work in the morning) and Sunday morning. I'll be Commandant Oscar on Saturday and Summoner Yuna on Sunday.
Don't know what time the AMV contest is at, so I do not know if I will be able to stay for it. Didn't enter anything cause I did not know when I was going to be able to swing by AFO.

That it is.
For any creators that didn't get this e-mail, btw, he's an update to what's going on:
Hi all,
I just wanted to update everybody on the AMV events which are happening
at AFO.
First off, due to the sheer amount of stuff going on Friday night, I'm going
to cancel the AMV Contestants Reception. Fear not, if you were looking
forward to some fun, I've arranged for all of the contestants to get
admission to the Wasabi Anime Aniversary Party at 9PM! For anybody who
doesn't know Wasabi Anime is a local club which tends to throw kickass
parties.
Friday night we have the Weakest Geek game show, a panel on horror anime
hosted by AMV contest judge Kevin Walker, the Panel of Doom and more.
Its going to be great.
If you wanted to chat about AMVs, I'm going to have an AMV Creator Breakfast
buffet on Saturday from 9AM to 11AM at the hotel restaurant. I'll pick up the
check for the creator, but you're welcome to bring a guest. Please email
me if you are planning on attending so I can reserve enough space.
Sunday at 3:30PM I will host the AMV contest. I'm very happy with the entries
that you guys produced this year, and I'm really looking forward to it.
ATTENTION: You will have a special badge at registration. This will be to
get you in to the Wasabi Anime party and will let me know that you are
at the convention. Please pick it up as soon as possible.
I'm looking forward to a great convention and I hope you guys enjoy it.

"Years ago, a friend told me something. That if you play rock, you die at 27. Janis Joplin. Jim Morrison. Jimi Hendrix. So I figured, hell, I'll die at 27 too...but then my 28th birthday came and passed. I was disappointed...shit, I wasn't a rocker after all...but there are tons of grey-haired skeletons out there with canes out there still rocking hard. So I took that way of thinking that death was something cool...and tossed it."
